Who we are

What we store

• Your email address, and the date and time you joined.
• A salted SHA-256 hash of your IP address. We never store the IP address itself.
• Your browser's user-agent string.
• The campaign that sent you here, if the link you followed named one.

Why

We use your email only to tell you when DataBu launches and to send your launch-day discount. Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). The hash and user-agent help us spot abuse of the sign-up form, which is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). We don't sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, and in any case no longer than 12 months after DataBu launches. Then we delete it.

How to unsubscribe

Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or write to hello@databu.app. Either way, your entry is deleted, not just flagged.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, and for it to be corrected, deleted, restricted or exported. You can also withdraw consent or object at any time. If you think we got something wrong, you can complain to the Czech data protection authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
